Drumming Memorial Service
Today in honor of a friend who unexpectedly passed away the previous week, we held a memorial service, and I lead the group in a drum circle as they loved to drum. It was a very powerful experience for all of us, as we were able to express ourselves in so many different ways. It felt like we were able to leave the service more uplifted as we expressed our goodbyes and heartfelt thoughts in the way we needed to. Once again I have been able to witness the power of the drum.
