I have spent the past month wanting a bike and have been doing research, going to stores, etc. Last week, I finally found the bike right for me, and was able to bring it home last Wednesday. It's so beautiful... it's light green! Well that was about the same time I began to get sick as well. So while being sick, I would just look at my bike, touch it, and really really really wish that I could take it out for a ride. Especially since we are finally having really nice spring weather. This morning, I finally woke up not feeling like I want to die, and decided that this is a good reason to go on a bike ride. I didn't go for a long one, because I didn't want to over do it. Also as I was bike riding I realized that my strength really isn't what it use to be and maybe I'm not completely better yet.
I live in such a beautiful area. The mountains are pretty much in my backyard. So I rode up the Canyon a little bit. The trails are gorgeous!!!! at this time of the year. I took some pictures of my ride, and put it to a song that was stuck in my head during the ride. I think the pictures would have had a better effect if I used something from Debussy, or Ravel, but I thought it would be better to have everyone experience what I was thinking at the time :-).... oh, I added additional pictures to make it match the timing of the song, and to enhance the song's lyric meaning even more.

I love that song! I've never heard it before. Yes, soothing music would have had a more claming effect, but realizing what you have been thru the past week or so - this music is quite appropriate.
So where did you get the last picture of that cat?

Well...that was intersting choice of music. I can honestly say I have never heard that song before. I am glad you had a nice bike ride though. Just think where you will be at the end of the summer.
The song is called "Allergies" by Barenaked Ladies. It's on their Snacktime! cd.
The last picture I got of the cat I found online. I thought it would be a great ending to the song.
FYI - I added the doughnut picture because it went along with having allergies to food :-)
